Poppies 8x8 Water Soluble Oils on Stretched Canvas ©2014 BEDeuel |
Okay, so this presentation is a little bit reversed... but we are very ready for spring to come and stay!!
Normally, vanity would stop me from posting all the steps that it took to get to the final painting, but I wanted to share some of the problems that were encountered while creating the painting.
A nice start... |
Something is starting to take over... |

Thank you for sharing your steps to a beautiful painting. I love seeing how others create, it always inspires me. The poppies here in Northern California are starting to pop up everywhere. They are all orange or once in a while a little gold. Your poppies in red are wonderful to see. Have a great PPF week and thank you for visiting me earlier.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and thanks for sharing your process!!

I always think art is so much about solving problems in creative ways. Sometimes it turns out that a problem leads to a lovely solution. Nicely done! Maybe its beauty will entice spring to stay--we have to do all we can!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh your poppies are wonderful. I really like the colors and the way you have shaded them. Very nice indeed.

Beautiful colours, blending and poppies! The poppies are dancing! I always learn from others when they share the process, so thank you for sharing..
ReplyDeleteThank you all, so very much! I was happy with the end result; I so wanted to do this painting and was losing hope that I 'd be able to finish it.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to be able to share it!
