    Okay, I feel silly asking but why the charcoal on the back of the sketch, just wondering what I'm missing. Tired so that's my excuse : ) Thanks for sharing the progress.

    1. I used the charcoal on the back of the tracing to redraw the birds, transferring the image to the canvas, Annabelle. It was easier to compose the images on the paper copy than to try to do it directly on the 3" canvas. Thanks for your interest!
